Just what it is:
by Peter Cluff
A "forum" is an on-line community populated by common-minded people to give and receive information on a broad range of relevant topics. Your DHSBA Forum will act as a receptacle of information on a plethora of small business topics, from Managing Employee Issues to Making a Vehicle Lease/Purchase Decision. Every member of the Forum can weigh in on any topic and provide comments and insights into that subject. Forum members seeking answers to their questions can do one of three things: 1 Start a new discussion TOPIC by asking a leading question like "Does anyone know the easiest way to?" and add your reasons for asking the question, OR 2 Post a full TOPIC article introduced by a statement like "Here are the 5 benefits I get out of Networking. What are yours?" OR 3 Choose an existing TOPIC related to your question and read through it to find possible answers. If you don't find an answer immediately, post your questions within the TOPIC and follow the subsequent discussions for answers. At the end of the day, the Forum acts as a knowledge database and a resource for any Forum member seeking answers. The Forum will be open to outside companies so you can bet there will be many expert opinions embedded in each discussion string. Call it a Forum or an E-Mentor or a Biz-Whiz, but definitely call it up and let it help you. The DHSBA has provided this Forum because you asked for it and we want you to actively participate in it as often as possible. We recommend that you log on to the Forum at least weekly. view more info here | |

Special Request
RE: Youth Centre
From: Charles Jayarajan
Hi, I am in the process of organizing a youth centre for Sri-Lankan teens in Malvern. As you are already aware, there is a huge need in that area. If you know where I can get some deals/donations of pool table, air hockey, foozeball, games machines etc...let me know.
Tax receipts can be issued. We are also looking for AV equipment like large TV monitors, dvd/cd players etc... Let me know if there is anybody in the DHSBA family that can help.
Best regards,
Charles Jayarajan
